Has your bike been serviced within the last 12 months?
If yes, and your bike is generally in good condition, choose a General Service.
A General Service is designed for bikes that receive regular maintenance and need routine servicing rather than a complete overhaul.
General Service includes
· Full safety inspection
· Brake adjustment
· Gear adjustment
· Checking and tightening all nuts, bolts and fittings
· Checking wheels, tyres and tyre pressures
· Checking the chain and drivetrain
· Lubricating moving parts where required
· Minor wheel truing
· Fitting replacement components where required
· Final safety check and test ride (where appropriate)
Additional charges may apply for
· Hydraulic disc brake bleeding
· Bearing servicing or replacement (headset, hubs and bottom bracket)
· Internal cable replacement
· The cost of replacement parts
· Non-routine repairs requiring significant additional workshop time
We will always contact you before carrying out any additional chargeable work.
Our recommendation
If your bike has not been serviced within the last 12 months, has been stored unused for a long period, is ridden daily in all weather, or you are unsure of its service history, we recommend booking a Full Service. Although a General Service resolves most routine maintenance needs, a Full Service is often the most cost-effective option for bikes requiring more extensive work.
Choose: General Service

Does your bike need a complete overhaul?
Choose a Full Service if:
· Your bike has not been serviced in over 12 months.
· You don’t know its service history.
· It has been stored for a long period.
· It is used daily or in all weather conditions.
· It has multiple faults.
· It has hydraulic disc brakes that may require bleeding.
· It has internal cable routing.
· You want every part of the bike thoroughly checked and serviced.
Full Service includes
Everything included in a General Service, plus:
· Hydraulic disc brake bleeding where required
· Servicing headset, hub and bottom bracket bearings
· Internal cable replacement labour
· Comprehensive drivetrain inspection and cleaning
· Complete inspection and adjustment of all components
· Wheel inspection and truing
· Final safety inspection and test ride
Replacement parts are charged separately. We will always contact you before fitting any significant parts that are not already agreed.
